She was born on June 17, 1925, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Ignatius and Katherine Blattner Schaub. On June 16, 1957, she married Nathan Thurk. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1985. Anna worked as a CNA at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home. She was a member of Holy Family Parish. Anna loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Rosemary Wilhelms of Fond du Lac, WI, David (Jenny) Scherschel of Clam Lake, WI and Karen (Gary) Weber of Fond du Lac; her grandchildren: Lisa (Kevin) Braun, Michelle Wilhelms, Brian (Ann) Weber, Scott (Nicole) Weber, Jamie (Scott) Brousseau and Michael Fadness; her great-grandchildren: Jake (Ashley) Braun, Sammy (Brandon) Brock, Kylie (Tyler) Schneider, Cami Patten and Maci Patten; her great-great grandchildren: Ashland Braun, Harper Braun, Sawyer Braun and a great-great granddaughter due in August. Anna is further survived by other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son-in-law Richard Wilhelms, her grandsons: Jimmy Scherschel and Bobby Wilhelms; six brothers and five sisters.
