Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Bond Martin, 85, of Route 3, Box 217, Bryan were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the Hillier Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bo Kelly and the Rev. Louie Walston officiating. Burial was to follow in the Steep Hollow Cemetery under the direction of Hillier Funeral Home.
Mrs. Martin died in a local hospital Sunday. She was born Dec. 30, 1892 in Brazos County. She was a housewife and a member of Steep Hollow Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Esker Martin of Bryan; two sons, Truman Martin of Seguin, and Arron Martin of Sugarland; two daughters, Mrs. Medra Nash of Bryan and Mrs. Martha Cobb of Bryan; three sisters, Mrs. Jack Jones and Mrs. Sadie Murray of Bryan and Mrs. Frank Richie of Corpus Christi; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
