Transcription of Obituary from the Brazos Pilot, 19 Sept 1907

Mrs. Milbry Bond
From Friday's Daily

Mrs. Milbry Bond, the beloved wife of Mr. B. G. Bond, died at the family home at Prospect last night at 11 o'clock. Mrs. Bond had been in bad health for some time and had been confined to her bed since January. Her death was not unexpected, but the fact that the worst was anticipated does not now lighten the blow or make less keen the deep sorrow of the husband and little children who are left to mourn the loss of their dearest and best friend.

Mrs. Bond was 39 years old, was raised in the Prospect community , and was a pure Christian lady, loved and esteemed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Methodist church and lived a consecrated, Christian life, bearing her long sufferings with patience and fortitude.

Besides her husband, seven little children are left--six girls and one boy--and the deepest sympathy of all go out to them.

She was___________at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Kaiser burying ground, Dr. L. F. Betts, pastor of the Methodist church of this city, conducting the funeral services.
