In the spring of 1889 Frank and Susie Hoisington came from Union, Nebraska to Palouse, Washington later moving to Troy, Idaho. In 1896 they left Troy and moved to Fix Ridge. Here they farmed and raised their children to adulthood. Their three daughters married three Heimgartner brothers.
In 1933 after several years of illness Frank Hoisington passed away. He is buried in the Fix Ridge Cemetery.
