Mrs Marie J Richter
Mrs. Marie J Richter, 57, of 1 Chestnut street, Stapleton, died yesterday after a long illness.
A native of Czechoslovakia, Mrs. Richter had been a resident of Staten Island 33 years. She was mother of the late Richard Max Richter, Navy seaman 1st class, who was lost at sea during World War II.
Surviving are her husband, Walter; four daughters, Mrs. Vivian Scragg; Mrs. Gloria Hamwi of Los Angeles; Mrs. Dolores Green and Mrs. Gwendolyn Bundy; a son, Herbert of Milford, Del.; a sister and two brothers in Czechoslovakia and eight grandchildren.
Burial will be in Silver Mount Cemetery.
