Elsie Luquette, age 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 11, 2023. She was born July 5,1935, in Houston, Texas to her loving parents Frank and Frances Cream. Elsie was a lifelong resident of Crosby and attended Crosby High School. She was the first female elected to the Crosby Independent School District Board of Trustees where she served for many years. She was employed by First City National Bank of Houston where she fulfilled a variety of roles.

Elsie is survived by her sister, Annie Michalsky, and her children, Vicki Luquette and Stephen Luquette. She has four grandchildren, Travis Chappell, Zackary Luquette, Lauren (Mathew) Anders, and Caleb (Ashley) Luquette; three great grandchildren, Emma, Stephen, and Kennedy Anders; and numerous nieces and nephews. Elsie is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Robert Luquette; her brothers Frank, Joe, Charlie, and Butch Cream, and her sister Olga Svoboda. She loved and touched many.

Memorial services and reception will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 15, 2023, at Kingwood Funeral Home.
