Marie Achziger, 101, of Greeley died Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Life Care Center of Greeley.
She was born April 1, 1902, in Lincoln, Neb., to John and Marie (Rohrig) Sitzman.
On March 5, 1924, she married Charles Achziger in Greeley. He died Aug. 6, 1994.
Mrs. Achziger moved to Greeley from Lincoln in 1914.
A mother and homemaker, she enjoyed hard work, cooking and gardening. She was a member of St. Paul's Congregational Church.
Survivors are three daughters, Bernice J. Thompson and husband Robert, LaVerne Ehrlich and husband Harvey, and Marian Furrow, all of Denver; a son, Charles Lee Achziger and wife Lorene of Loveland; a sister, Amelia Amen of Cheyenne; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A sister, three brothers and a son-in-law, Wayne Furrow, are deceased.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel. Interment will be at Linn Grove Cemetery, Greeley.
