Dominic Cassetto, 71, who came to Lewiston 41 years ago to work for the railroads, died at St. Joseph's Hospital at 10:30 last night. Ill with cancer he had entered the hospital Tuesday.

Mr. Cassetto was born in Italy in 1888 (marker has 1878) and came to the United States in 1903. After living briefly in Kansas City, mo., he came west and lived in that area for the remainder of his life.

A veteran of the Camas Prairie Railroad Mr. Cassetto retired four years ago. He became ill about a year after his retirement and never fully recovered.

He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Clarkston and the Eagles Lodge. He lived on 16th Street, Clarkston.

Survivors are his wife, Ida; three sons, John and Joseph of Clarkston, Michael of Bonners Ferry; two daughters, Mrs. M .D. Church, Lewiston, and Pauline at home; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
