Elmer, 92, Versailles, died at 7:08 p.m., in the emergency room of Upper Valley Medical Center.

He was born to Fred and Mary (Synck) Bohman. On May 9, 1939, he married Verena Meier, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Orville (Norma), Versailles, Thomas (Joann), Houston, TX, and David (Chris), Windham, N.H.; four daughters, Angela Grieshop, Sidney, Karen (Alvin) Drees, Versailles, Jane (Linus) Grieshop, Minster, and Linda (Gary) Steinbrunner, Fort Recovery; a brother Otmer (Agnes), Clayton; a sister, Thelma Schmitmeyer, Minster; 25 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a son-in-law, Joe Grieshop and a grandson.

He was a farmer and a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles.

Funeral Mass is at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating.
