Mrs. Mary Bohman, 84, Maria Stein route 1, died Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at her home after a three month illness. She was born August 20, 1881 at Philothea to the late Henry and Catherine Tekamp Synck. She was married to Fred J. Bohman on October 14, 1903 and he died December 3, 1961. The deceased was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, the St. Barbara Society and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John of Maria Stein. Survivors include four daughters and three sons, Mrs. Dick (Hedwig) Mescher, Maria Stein; Mrs. Aloys (Dorena) Knapke, Versailles; Mrs. Elmer (Hilda) Kremer, Chickasaw; Mrs. Thelma) Schmitmeyer, Minster, Othmer and Elmer, both of Versailles and Maurice of Osgood. There are 45 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Andrew (Catherine) Sweeterman. Two sons and a daughter preceded her in death. Funeral services were held on Wednesday in St, Nicholas Church with Rev. Norbert Sweeterman, god-child of the deceased, officiating. Burial was made in St. Martin's cemetery.
