Wife of Andrew C. Andersen, mother of James Andersen, Sr.∼Wilma Andersen, 84, West Salem, died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday at the Olney Care Center.

Services will be in the Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem with Brother Jim Medlen presiding. Burial will be in Moravian Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born May 6, 1897 in Edwards County, the daughter of William H. and Iona (Osburn) Mewes. She married Andrew Anderson and he preceded her in death in 1970.

Survivors include a son, James, West Salem; a sister, Joyce Sanchez, Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
