Jeanetta E. Parker of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Bartonville, Ill., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, at her home.
She was born Aug. 7, 1918, to Otto and Linda Buhs. She married Owen M. Parker on April 10, 1998. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1998.
Her son, Robert W. McGowan, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter, Frances (John) Tate of Tucson, Ariz.; her son, Kenneth (Shirley) Parker of Osage Beach, Mo.; and her sister, Thelma Gudat. She has five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Second Baptist Church on Farmington Road.
Graveside services will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at 11 a.m. The Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, 428 W. McClure Ave., Peoria, is in charge of the arrangements.
