Thresia Frances Sextro, daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Sextro was on born April 12, 1888 and departed this life on July 8, 1951 at the University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Ks., at the age of 63 years, 2 months, and 26 days. She was married to Edward A. Brucken on October 26, 1910. Her husband passed away on
Feb. 17, 1949. Since his death she has made her home in Holton.
She is survived by 11 children, Henry and Edwin of Mayetta, John, Albert, Leo, Mrs. Jpsephine Roles, Mrs. Rose Rogge, all of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Mary Wessel of Vermillion, Mrs. Dorothy Benoit of Hawthorne, California, Lawrence of Soldier, and Elnora of the home; 3 sisters,Mrs. Elizabeth Buessing of Baileyville, Mrs. Josephine Boeckman of Kelly, Mrs. Mary Reichert of Falls City, Neb; 2 brothers Henry Sextro of Beattie and Frank Sextro o Kansas City, Kansas.
The funeral was held on Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock, July 10, at St. Dominic’s Church, Holton, officiated by Father Frank Glowacki. Pallbearers were 6 nephews, Leo and Sylvester Buesiing, Kenneth and Gerald Sextro, Raymond and Lawrence Boeckman. Rosary was held at the Padden Funeral Home. Burial was in Mount Calvary cemetery, Holton.
