Albert H. "Boots" Brucken, 80, of Raytown, MO, died Monday, June 14, 1999, at his daughter's home in Washington, IL.

He was born November 29, 1918, at Kelly, the son of Edward A. and Thresia Sextro Brucken.

Mr. Brucken was owner and operator of Brucken Trucking in Kansas City from 1967 until he retired in 1983. Prior to that he owned and operated several Standard Service Stations in the Kansas City area.

He was a member of St. Regis Catholic Church in Kansas City, MO; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Raytown, MO; and Disabled American Veterans. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the infantry in Italy.

He married Pauline Johnson, February 7, 1948, in Kansas City, MO. She died May 13, 1986.

Survivors include daughter, Pamela Venturi, Washington, IL; brothers, Lawrence Brucken, Soldier; Leo Brucken, Havensville; sisters, Mary Wessel, Topeka; Dorothy Benoit, Topeka; and one grandson.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Holton.
