THE ODEBOLT CHRONICLE - Thu, Jun 28, 1973 - Early - Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Early Methodist church for Mrs Fred (Arabella) Pease and burial was in Grant City cemetery at Grant City.
Mrs Pease succumbed to a lengthy illness on Sunday June 24 at Iowa City, where she had been in the hospital at intervals. She was 55 years of age, having been born May 7, 1918 at Newcastle, Ohio.
She leaves to mourn her death her husband Fred; two sons: Fred Jr of Pasadena, CA and Jon of Burlington, IA; two daughters: Mrs Loren (Charyl) Carlson of Alta, Karen and Sharen at home; her mother, Mrs Bernice Plunkett of Kalamazoo MI; two sisters: Mrs Russell Hocking of Sioux City and Mrs Florian Roeder of Schaller; two brothers: Eugene and Darian Anstiss of Michigan; and four grandchildren.
Mr and Mrs Pease were married at Niles, MI Dec 16, 1938 and have been residents of the Early community for many years where Mr Pease engaged in farming.
