Survived by one son, four sisters, Mrs Myrtle Logan, Mrs Jesse Zimmerman, Mrs Murial Tharp & Mrs Leona Rodden & one brother Percy.

Graden Lucas Dies In Kansas City Hospital
Graden David Lucas, a former resident of Cherokee, died at 6:00 o'clock Wednesday morning in Kansas City, Mo., following an illness of five weeks.
He was 51 years old.
Mr.Lucas was born in Cherokee, March 20, 1899. He was married to Miss Eva Williams on March 20, 1919. They lived in Cherokee for a time then went to Columbus in 1920. He was employed as a mechanic at the Baldwin garage there for a number of years. He worked on defense work in many different points and the couple moved to Kansas City in 1945.
He was a member of the Columbus Christian church and the Ivanhoe Masonic Lodge in Kansas City.
Surviving are the wife, one brother, Percy Lucas of Hutchinson; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Logan of Fort Scott, Mrs. Jessie Zimmerman of Columbus, Mrs. Murial Tharp of Hawaii, and Mrs. Leona Rodden of Longton, Kansas. A son, Marvin Olen, has preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Columbus Christian church this afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. George Jones. Burial will be in the Cherokee cemetery.
