HAROLD LENHARDT

Harold Lenhardt, 77, of Loveland died Jan. 6 in Sierra Vista Health Care Center in Loveland.

He was born Aug. 26, 1913, in Paonia, to Conrad and Anna Kauffman Lenhardt. He married Eleanor Schleuger on Sept. 16, 1934, in Loveland.

He moved to Loveland in 1934. He was a brakeman for the C & S Railroad and the Great Western Railroad. Before working for the railroad, he was involved in farming & carpentry.

He was a member of the fist Congregational Church.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Lenhardt, Loveland; a son, Richard Lenhardt and wife Neva, Thornton; a daughter, Marjorie Diekman and husband Jerry, Loveland; grandchildren, Scott Diekman and wife Susan and Mark Diekman, all of Loveland, and Debbie Grauberger and husband Mike, Thornton; great-grandchildren, Stephen Grauberger, Thornton; a sister, Linda Walters, Portland, Ore.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Congregational Church, with the Rev. Arthur Orth Officiating.

Burial will be in Loveland Burial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church in care of Hunter Chapel
