H. BAUMBACH PASSES AWAY
Henry Bambach, prominent Lodi District vineyardist, passed away at his R. 1, Box 455, Tecklenburg Road home yesterday morning following an extended illness.
A native of Krim, Russia, he was 82 years of age.
Mr. Baumbach came to Lodi from Hutchinson County, S Dakota in 1907, and was the owner of extensive vineyard holdings.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Karolina Baumbach, and was the father of Mrs. Elizabeth Werner, Arcata, Humboldt County; Mrs. Lottie Reuscher, Lodi; Mrs. Katie Scheideman, Lodi; Mrs. Lydia Miller, Oakland; Mrs. Martha Miller, Lodi; Ike Baumbach, Lodi and the Late Pauline Blanke and Abe Baumbach. In addition, he leaves 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Mon. afternoon at 1pm from the Church of God, Seventh-day, corner of Lodi and Pleasant. He had been an elder of this church for the past 14 years. Interment will be in the Lodi Cemetery under the direction of Hale and Bawden.

The funeral of Henry Baumbach will be held this afternoon at 2pm in the Seventh-day Church of God, corner of Lodi and Pleasant Ave. Interment will be made in Lodi Cemetery under direction of Hale and Bawden.
