George Bath Dies In Greeley Hospital
George Bath, 87, a farmer in the Loveland area for more than 50 years, died Monday in Weld county hospital, Greeley. He had been ill for three months.
A resident of the United States since 1907, Mr. Bath came here from Europe in 1907. His wife, Anna Maria, died on Jan. 4, 1948.
For the past 10 years, the deceased had resided with a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Miller, in Greeley.
He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Alex Betz, Loveland; Mrs. Molly Floth, Laramie, Wyo.; Mrs. Mabel Miller, Greeley; Mrs. Louise Kechter, Fort Collins; Mrs. Mary Ehrlich, Fort Collins; and Mrs. Frieda Heimbigner, Cheyenne, Wyo.; one son, George Jr., Greeley; a brother, Jacob Bath, of Loveland; and 24 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday from the First Congregational church with the Rev. Abraham Brenning officiating. Interment will be in Loveland burial park.
