PAUL H WERLING, 83, of New Haven, died at 10 pm Wednesday in Brighton Hall Nursing Center, New Haven. Mr Werling, a retired farmer, was born in Woodburn and was a lifelong resident of Allen County. Surviving are two daughters, Carol Fowler, of Fort Wayne and Judy Diettrich, of Hoagland; two sons, Donn of Dearborn, Mich and David, of Little Rock Ark; six grandchildren; four brothers, Henry of St Paul, Minn, Walter of New Haven, Arthur of Fort Wayne and Reinhold of Columbus, Ohio; and two sisters, Elda Werling and Helen Rodenbeck, both of Fort Wayne. Services at 10:30 am Saturday in Martini Lutheran Church, New Haven. Calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm today in E Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven, and from one hour before services at the church. Memorials to the church. Fort Wayne Journal Gazette - July 5, 1985
