Elizabeth Sevalt, 82, of Iliff, died Tuesday, May 14, 1996, in Sterling.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Tennant Funeral Home with vigil and rosary at 7:30 p.m. that evening. Funeral mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine's Parish in Iliff with the Rev.DeGante officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Sterling.
Mrs. Sevalt was born Nov. 18, 1913, to John and Barbara (Kaberline) Weingardt in Sterling. She grew up in Sterling and attended St. Anthony's School. She lived in the Iliff area after she was married. She moved back to Sterling almost four years ago. She was a homemaker and dedicated to raising her 10 children.
Mrs. Sevalt was a member of St. Catherine's Parish in Iliff.
She is survived by her husband, Jacob, of Sterling; three sons, Jim and wife Louise of Westminster, Ray and wife Betty of Sterling and Ronald and wife Audrey of Aurora; five daughters, Geraldine Schmitt and husband Larry of Col orado Springs, Rosemary Sturbaum and husband Marvin of Longmont, Dorothy White and husband Frank of Henderson, Texas, Virginia Green and husband Terry of Lakewood and Lorraine Sevalt of Sterling; a sister, Katherine Cook of Neola, Utah; a brother, Martin Weingardt and wife Caroline of Sterling; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sevalt was preceded in death by two daughters, Jane and Irene; four brothers, Joe, Frank, Paul and John; and one sister, Madeline.
