In 1935, Dorothy moved to Kingman, Arizon, to marry Paul H. Wallace, an electrical engineer and contractor. Dorothy was very active in local community activities and held various leadership positions in organization including the Rebekah Lodge where she was a member for 75 years, Women's Club, Past Nobel Grand's Club, Kingman Garden Club and many others. Following the death of her husband Paul in 1966, Dorothy entered the work place as an experience she had not known since her youth.
In 1969, she met and married Howard Crawford, which they enjoyed cultivating fruit trees, vegetable and flower gardens at their country home in Clack's Canyon. They enjoyed hosting gardening events at their home and sharing products from their orchard and garden with friends around the community.
Howard passed away in 1984 and Dorothy moved to Phoenix and later to Henderson.
Dorothy's greatest love and pride in life was homemaking and her family. She was very caring and loving in the raising of her two sons; John (Doris) Wallace, and Bob (Lorraine) Wallace.
In addition to her two sons, Dorothy is survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her contagious optimism, cheerful ways and loving spirit will be dearly missed.
Besides her parents, Dorothy now joins her brothers; Ernest, Walter, Arthur, Frederick, John and Herbert Leroy Tschannen and sisters; Rose McCune and Pauline Nyvold.
Burial in Mountain View Cemetery in Kingman, Arizona, where she will be laid to rest between her two beloved husbands.
