Ella F. Rumley, 91, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, at the Golden Living Center, Wilson.
Mrs. Rumley was born April 8, 1917, at Dorrance to John C. and Lydia Wallert Friebus. She was a resident of the Dorrance-Wilson area her entire life. She was a homemaker and a member of Wilson’s First Presbyterian Church.
She was married to Cecil D. Rumley.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Rumley of Fenton, Mo.; a daughter, Darlene Day of Houlton, Me.; two sisters, Elsie Sebesta of Wilson and Violet Stull of Salina; a brother, Leo Friebus of Russell; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Smith and Eva Mae Schmidt; and a brother, Ernest Friebus.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Foster Mortuary Chapel, Pastor Ron Lowry officiating. Burial will be in Wilson City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or the Wilson Senior Center.
