"Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church here for Joseph Zlatnik, 90, Delia. He died late Saturday, March 2, at his home. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Zlatnik was born July 15, 1894, at Olivia, Minn., the son of Antonin and Julie (Sadek) Zlatnik. He moved to the Delia Area with his parents as a small child. He was a 70-year member of the Presbyterian Church at Delia, where he had been ruling elder, trustee and treasurer or many years. He had also served on the board of education at Delia. He was married to Cecile Thompson September 24, 1924, at Delia. She survives. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Bruce Hoglund. Survivors include 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Delia Cemetery. Mr. Zlatnik will lie in state from 2 p.m. today until noon Tuesday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. today. He will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund at Delia Presbyterian Church."
