Rose Albers, 72, 300 Cassella-Montezuma Rd., Maria Stein, died Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. at Community Hospital, Coldwater, following a short illness.

She was born April 26, 1915, in Osgood, the daughter of John and Mary (Luebke) Stucke.

On October 1, 1938, she was married in Osgood to Herbert Albers, who survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Walter and Dennis, Osgood, and Mark, Salem, Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Patricia) Prenger, Anna; 18 grandchildren; a brother, Louis Stucke, Chickasaw; six sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Rethman, Fort Loramie, Mrs. Ben (Marie) Rethman. Versailles, Mrs. Henrietta Dirksen and Mrs. Alvina Hemmelgarn, both of Maria Stein, Mrs. Cletus (Sally) Heitkamp, Osgood, and Mrs. Serenus (Rita) Brockman, Cranberry Prairie; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Hilda Stucke, Cranberry Prairie.

Two brothers and a sister are deceased.

A homemaker, Mrs. Albers was a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella, and the Ladies Sodality of the parish.

Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Cassella church with the Rev. Herbert Eilerman officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Hogenkamp's Funeral Home, St. Henry, Friday 2-9 p.m. and until the hour of services.
