From extensive research, I believe her parents are Johann Bernard Feldmann born 06 Sep 1798 in Borringhausen and Maria Agnes Baune born 24 Jun 1799 in Borringhausen, Vechta, Niedersachsen, Germany. The Felmannn family departed from Bremen, Germany on April 16, 1843 on the sailing ship Marianna. The Master of the ship was Carl Wieting, with 157 passengers on board. They arrived at the Port of Baltimore on June 8, 1843. They were at sea for 53 days from Bremen to Baltimore. The family members listed are Bernhard Feldmann age 46, Agnes Feldmann age 45, Agnes Feldmann age 20, Marianne Feldmann age 16, Anna Feldmann age 12 and Henry Feldmann age 8. The Feldmanns are passengers #79 through #84.

The Feldmanns were going to Cincinnati. They were listed with the Between Decks Passengers. They had two trunks and 1 bag. Bernard is listed as a farmer and daughter Agnes is listed as a servant/maid. There were others aboard this ship from Damme, Germany, as well as Neunkirchen and Steinfeld, all villages in the Vechta area. In other documentation of this voyage we learn that the Feldmanns were from the village of Borringhausen, dom. Meyer farm.
