Funeral services for Bishop Alex Wall, Jr., 75, of Floydada will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Floydada.

Burial will be held at the Floydada Cemetery under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Floydada.

Wall died Thursday, May 26, 2005 at his residence.

He was born July 8, 1929 in Fredrick, Oklahoma to the late Alex and Katie Wall. He married Leddie Davis on March 28, 2948 in James, Texas. He moved to Floydada from Lockney in 1961. He was a farmer and worked for Russell Equipment. He enjoyed mechanical work on cars and making barbecue grills. He was a Pastor at the Pentecostal Christian Center.

Three sons, two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Survivors include three sons, Jerry Wall and wife, Georgia, Arthur Wall and wife, Sherrie and Alex D. Wall and wife, Lisa, all of Plainview; four daughters, Jeannie Glenn and husband, Donald, Sandra Tolson and husband, Kenneth, Brenda Wall, all of Plainview and Linda McClendon and husband, Thomas of Amarillo; three sisters, Joann Durham and Joann Durham, both of Phoenix, Arizona and Clarice Davis of Shreveport, Louisiana; 19 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that all memorials be made to Pentecostal Christian Center, 604 E. Lee, Floydada, Texas 79235.
