Solomon Runk 70, resident of Port Huron 18 years died this morning in his home 515 Thirteenth St. after a long illness, He was born in Susannenthal, Russia in 1866, and married Amelia Meinhardt 1886. He came to the United Stated in 1912 and moved to Port Huron in 1918.
He is survived by his widow, and sons, Joseph, David, William, and Alex Runk all of Port Huron and Adolph Runk, St. Clair; three daughters Mrs. John Labor, Applegate, Mrs. Fred Schumann, Margate, and Mrs. Andrew Falk, Port Huron; and 31 grandchildren.
Rev. Frederick Schusible pastor of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church will conduct funeral services in the church at 2:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
