David Runk 46 resident of Port Huron 30 years and employee of Marysville Parts Plant, Chrysler Corporation died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 10, 1943 in his home, 515 Thirteenth Street. He was born in Susannenthal, Russia Nov. 24 1897 and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He married Dorothy Lehman July 31, 1921.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, PFC Walter Runk, Dodge City, Kansas and Robert Runk, Port Huron; three daughters Mrs. Dorothy Hawkins, Detroit, Miss Lillian Irene Runk and Miss Delores Runk, both of Port Huron; his mother Amelia Runk, Port Huron four brothers John Runk, Cheboygan, MI, Adolph Runk, Chicago, William and Alex Runk both of Port Huron; three sisters, Mrs. John Labor, Applegate, Mrs. Fred Schumann, McGregor and Mrs. Andrew Falk, Port Huron.

The remains are in the home. Funeral services will be held in St. Paul Lutheran Church at 2:30 p.m Monday, Rev. Fred Schnaible, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
