C. Frank Uphoff, 68, retired Blooming Grove farmer, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of his son, Willard, near Watertown, after a long illness. Mr. Uphoff was born in Cottage Grove and lived most of his life in that township and Blooming Grove. During the past year and a half he lived with his son. His wife died three years ago. Mr. Uphoff was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church. Survivors besides his son Willard include another son, the Rev. D. F. Uphoff, Green Bay; a sister, Adelaide Korfmacher, McFarland; his step-mother; three half sisters and four half brothers. The body was taken to the Schroeder funeral home.

Uphoff Rites Funeral services for C. Frank Uphoff, 68, retired Blooming Grove farmer who died Wednesday, will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Schroeder funeral home. The Rev. Bernard B. Bartel of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Cottage Grove cemetery.
