Arthur Karnatz, a Bostwick resident for many years, and a long time employee of the Ideal Cement Company of Superior, passed away Saturday, April 30. He was 64.
Mr Karnatz was born in Omaha, and at an early age moved with his folks to a farm near Esbon, Kan. His wife is the former Amelia Indorf. They lived in Esbon for a while and for 23 years have lived at Bostwick.
Surviving are his wife, one son, Earl Karnatz, Napa, Calif., three daughters, Mrs Lyle Duncan (Eleanor), Mrs Oren Reeve (Estella) and Mrs Richard Towne (Elaine), all of Superior, and one step-brother, William Yetter of Burr Oak.
The funeral service was held at the Megrue Funeral home Monday, May 2, conducted by Rev Robert Wigert and burial was in Shaffer cemetery southwest of Superior.
