George Peppler Jr. was born on 14 June 1890 in Hussenbach, Russia, the son of George Peppler. He was baptized as a child and at 15 confirmed. This young man at 18 years old came with his parents to this land and home at Fort Collins, Colo. He married a year later to Katherine Peppler and they had 7 children, 2 died before their father. The family came to Greeley in 1942 and attended St. Paul's Church. In year 1951 they went back to the farm and lived in city of Greeley at last. His wife died and he married the second time to Marie Peppler. He died in his home 3 June 1959 at age 11 days less than 69 years. He left his wife, 5 children; 9 stepchildren; his mother; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; 30 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Greeley, Colo. H. J. Stroh, Pastor.

George Peppler Dies in Greeley
Word was received here today of the death of George Peppler, 69, at his home in Greeley Wednesday. A former Fort Collins resident, he was the husband of Mrs. Marie Peppler of Greeley.
Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. Julia Peppler of Loveland; five children, Harold of LaSalle and Harvey Peppler of Gill, Mrs. Ernest Rossi and Mrs. Philip Rodenberger of Denver, and Mrs. Jack Geist of Holyoke; and seven step-children, Mrs. Wynn Brown of Arvada, Mrs. Same Befuse, Mrs. Frida Painter, Glenn Peppler and Marvin Peppler of Longmont, and Mrs. Shirley Apple and Leonard Peppler of Greeley.
He also has four brothers--Jake and Victor of Longmont, Henry of Mead and Edward of Denver--and two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Flohr of Gering, Neb., and Mrs. Fred Schmer of Loveland.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday at St. Paul's Congregational Church in Greeley. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery here.
