Esther Rodenberger, 86, of Fort Collins, died Thursday, March 25, 1999. She was born Nov. 27, 1912, in Fort Collins to George Peppler Jr. and Katherine (nee Peppler) Peppler. She married Philip Rodenberger on Feb. 14, 1932, in Fort Collins. She was a homemaker and food service worker at Colorado State University for 10 years. She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Women of the Moose, College of Regents, Academy of Friendship and the Poudre Valley Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include one son; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Rodenberger; her husband, her parents, and one sister, Irene Geist.
