Katherine Peppler, born Peppler, was born on 29 December 1891 in Hussenbach, Russia, and was the daughter of Jacob and Maria Peppler. In this place she became a child of the Lord in holy baptism. In1906, she came with her parents from Russia to Canada, where she was confirmed. In the same year, 1906, the Peppler family moved to Ft. Collins, Colo., where she married her now sorrowing husband George Peppler, Jr. on 18 December 1910. This fortunate pair had 7 children, from them 2 have preceded their mother in death. With her family she came to live in Greeley in 1941, where she spent the rest of her time (?). In 1951 Sister Peppler moved to her home in Greeley. She became ill on Sunday evening, the 1st of September 1957, and died quickly that same evening at about 9 o"clock. Through God's grace she lived to 65 years, 8 months and 3 days.
