Katherine Peppler, born Peppler, was born on 29 December 1891 in Hussenbach, Russia, and was the daughter of Jacob and Maria Peppler. In this place she became a child of the Lord in holy baptism. In1906, she came with her parents from Russia to Canada, where she was confirmed. In the same year, 1906, the Peppler family moved to Ft. Collins, Colo., where she married her now sorrowing husband George Peppler, Jr. on 18 December 1910. This fortunate pair had 7 children, from them 2 have preceded their mother in death. With her family she came to live in Greeley in 1941, where she spent the rest of her time (?). In 1951 Sister Peppler moved to her home in Greeley. She became ill on Sunday evening, the 1st of September 1957, and died quickly that same evening at about 9 o"clock. Through God's grace she lived to 65 years, 8 months and 3 days. She left her husband, George Peppler Jr., the following 3 daughters and 2 sons: Mrs. Emma Rossi from Denver, Mrs. Esther Rothenberger in Ft. Collins, Harold and Harvey Peppler, both from Gill, and Mrs. Irene Geist from Holyoke, Colo.; 7 grandchildren; 4 brothers and a sister, also many friends and acquaintances.

Mrs. George Peppler Jr., a former resident of Fort Collins, died at Greeley Monday of a heart ailment. Born in Wisconsin Dec. 29, 1891, she came here in 1906. On Dec. 16, 1910, she married George Peppler Jr. at Wellington. They moved to Greeley in 1940.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Peppler is survived by five children--Mrs. Ernest Rossi of Denver, Mrs. Jack Geist of Holyoke, Mrs. Philip Rodenberger of Fort Collins and Harold and Harvey Peppler of Gill, Colo.
Brothers are George, Henry, Ed and Don Peppler, all of Oshkosh, Wis., and a sister is Mrs. Elizabeth Koehn of Milwaukee. There are seven grandchildren.
The funeral has been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Congregational Church in Greeley. Burial will take place about 3:45 p.m. at Grandview cemetery here. Macy's mortuary in Greeley is in charge.
