St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen and sang with Schola
Cantorium at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean (Schroeder)
Uffelman of Decatur; daughters, Sue German of Fort Wayne,
Sandra Rhein of South Bend; sons, Ronald Uffelman of Albion
and David Uffelman of Hoagland; daughter, Amy Schueler of
Ossian; brother, Herbert Uffelman of Fort Wayne; and 21
grandchildren.
Service is 11 am Friday in the St. John Lutheran Church,
Decatur. Visitation is from 1 to 4 and 5 to 8 pm Thursday at
the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, and one hour prior
to the service at the church Friday.
Preferred memorials to Schola Cantortum; St. John Lutheran
Church.
