He is survived by his wife, Alice; their five children, Kenneth (Cheryl) Uffelman of Herndon, Va., Lynn (Jan) Uffelman of Wolcottville, Carol (Bruce) McAfee, Mark (Billie) Uffelman and James (Judy) Uffelman, all of Fort Wayne; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Lester Uffelman.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church, 4900 Fairfield Ave., with calling one hour prior at the church. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
