EMMA SCHEFFE BROWN
The funeral for Emma M. Scheffe Brown, 101, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. Richard Peckman officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home.
Brown was born Jan. 24, 1892 in Kansas to Phillip and Maria (Wagner) Pope, and died Friday, Jan. 29, 1993, at Greenbrier Village Nursing Home.
She grew up in the Fairview area. She married John Scheffe who died in 1938. She later married Charles A. Brown, who died in 1970. A lifelong seamstress she worked at Kleins Ready to Wear. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one son, Paul Scheffe of Van Nuys, Calif., one sister, Anna Southwick Millhouse of Sun City, Ariz., four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, five brothers, four sisters.
Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
