Jonathan Karl
Jonathan J. Karl, real estate dealer for 45 years, died at City Hospital Thursday night at 7:40 of heart disease. He was taken to the hospital Wednesday.
Mr. Karl was born in Dover, O., June 12, 1872, the son of Peter and Sarah Auman Karl. He had been a resident of Warren since 1919, coming here form Dover.
Forty-nine years ago he married Anna M. Weaver, who preceded him in death in 1913.
Mr. Karl was a member of St. Mary's Church and of the Holy Name Society.
Surviving are three sons: Ferdinand Karl of Dover, Maurice and Norman Karl of Warren; a daughter, Mrs. James Hood, Warren; tow brothers, Edward and Harry Karl of Dover; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Wilhelm of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren. A son, Victor Karl, died in 1939.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 at St. Mary's Church and interment will be in st. Joseph's Cemetery, Dover.
The body is at the Gillen Funeral Home, where the family will meet friends from 7 to 9 tonight. The Holy Name Society will meet at the funeral home tonight at 7:30 to recite the Rosary.
