Graveside services were conducted, Monday, December 22, for Dena Elizabeth Stevens, at 2 p.m. at the Lincoln Memorial Park, Lincoln, with the Reverend Ralph Sturdy officiating.
Dena Johnson Stevens was born July 1, 1892, at Moorhead, Iowa, and died December 18, 1980, at her home at 5238 Pawnee Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 88 years.
Her early life was spent in Moorhead and Sioux City, Iowa. Following her marriage to Clarence M. Stevens on November 1, 1911, at Sioux City, Iowa, they lived in the area for several months. They later resided on farms in the Middlebranch and Page, Nebraska area for many years. Upon their retirement, they moved to Page where they operated a service station for a number of years. In 1964, the couple moved to Lincoln to be nearer their children.
Survivors are sons; Lee W., Lincoln; E. Wendell, Omaha; daughters, Thelma S. Moore, Opal E. Voehl, both of Lincoln; Mrs. Elton (Lucile G.) Grass, Eugene, Oregon; 16 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on September 14, 1977, an infant daughter, her mother and father, five sisters and four brothers.
