R.H. (Rudy) Feldman

R.H. (Rudy) Feldman, 63, of East Dubuque, Ill., died Saturday morning at Finley Hospital.

Services will be at 10 am Tuesday at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Key West.

Friends may call after 2 pm Sunday at Egelhof Funeral Home in Dubuque. The rosary will be recited at 8:15 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Surviving are his wife, the former Lela Brauhn, one son, Elmer Joe of Cascade, Ia.; three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Rosemary) Decker of Bernard, Ia., Mrs. Richard (Rita) Devaney, Cascade, Ia., Mrs. Ronald (Dorothy) McCarthy, of Dubuque; 23 grandchildren; three brothers, Herman, Centralia, Ia.; Al and Leander, both of Dubuque; three siters, Mrs. Andy (Louise) Konrardy, Waterloo, Ia., Mrs. Martha Farni, Dubuque, and Mrs. Carl (Florence) Jidds [sic], Cedar Rapids, Ia.

Rudolph H. Feldman

Rudolph (Rudy) H. Feldman, age 63, passed away suddenly at Finley Hospital, Dubuque, Saturday morning, Dec. 28th, at 7 am.

Rudy was the son of Philomena Fangman Feldman and Joseph Feldman, both deceased, and was born and raised at Dyersville and received his education in the parochial schools here.

Funeral services were held from the Egelhoff Funeral Home to St. Columbkille's church Tuesday morning, Dec. 31st, at 10 o'clock, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Key West.

He was married to the former Helen Hayes of Dubuque, who preceded him in death, as did a baby daughter and his second wife, the former Magdalena Burdt.

Survivors include his wife, the former Lela Brauhn of East Dubuque, Ill., three daughters, Mrs. Earl (Rosemary) Decker of Bernard; Mrs. Richard (Rita) Devaney, Cascade; Mrs. Ronald (Dorothy) McCarthy of Vizaleea Drive, Dubuque; and a son, Elmer of Cascade; and 23 grandchildren. Also three sisters, Mrs. Andy (Louise) Konrardy of Waterloo, Mrs. Carl (Florence) Gibbs of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Ed (Martha) Farni, Dubuque; three brothers, Herman, Centralia, Aloysius and Leander of Dubuque.

Rudy was well known in this area, having conducted a "Garage Parts and Accessories on Wheels" and called on many business places here.

Out of towners here for the funeral were: the Earl Decker family of Bernard, the Dick Devaney family and Elmer Feldman families of Cascade; Mrs. Andy Konrardy and son Harold of Waterloo; Merlin and Everett Konrardy of Montgomery, Minn.; Dr. and Mrs. Gene Vorman and family of Sumner; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gibbs and two granddaughters of Cedar Rapids; the Herman Feldmans of Centralia; Diane Feldman of Davenport; the Anton Feldmann family, Mrs. Frances Nefzger and the George Hildebrands of Earlville; the Joe Feldmann of Hopkinton; Mr. and Mrs. Harold J. Little of Overland Park, Kansas; Mrs. Leon Brauhn, Richard, Linda and Marilyn of Waterloo; Mr. and Mrs. James Brauhn of Ames; Miss Martha Gremmels and Mrs. C.A. Klingman of Oelwein; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Chesterman, Mrs. Fred Chesterman Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Chesterman Jr. of Peosta and Miss Molly Miehe of Epworth.
