Louise M. Konrardy

CASCADE, Iowa -- Louise M. Konrardy, 89, of Sumner, formerly of Cascade, died Sunday morning at Hillcrest Home, Sumner.

Services will be at 11 am Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Sumner, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa. Friends may call after 11 am Tuesday at Becker Milnes Funeral Home, Sumner, where the rosary will be recited at 4 pm and a parish scripture service will be said at 8:30 pm.

Her husband, Andrew, died Oct. 15, 1969.

Surviving are three sons, M.J. "Bud" of Jackson, Minn., Everett of Mound, Minn., and Harold of Waterloo; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Anita) Vorman of Sumner; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Al and Lee Feldman, both of Dubuque, and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Farni of Dubuque and Mrs. Florence Gibbs of Loveland, Colo.

Louise Konrardy, 89, died Sunday

Funeral services were held for Louise Konrardy, 89, who died Sunday, March 9, at Hillcrest Home where she had been a resident since 1976. There were 11:00 am services at the Immaculate Conception Church in Sumner with Rev. Joseph Kleiner officiating. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Waterloo and Becker-Milnes Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.

Louise Mary, daughter of Joseph and Philomena (Fangman) Feldman, was born June 15, 1896, at Dyersville. She attended the Dyersville schools. On April 6, 1921, she married Andrew Konrardy at LaMotte, and the couple lived in Cascade and later Dubuque before moving to Waterloo in 1944. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Sumner.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Anita) Vorman of Sumner; three sons, M.J. "Bud" of Jackson, Minn., Everett of Mound, Minn., and Harold of Waterloo; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Al and Lee Feldman, both of Dubuque; and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Farni of Dubuqu and Mrs. Florence Gibbs of Loveland, Colo. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969; her parents; two brothers, Herman and Rudy; a sister, Clara; and a great-grandson.
