Alice Amy Harvey, 90, Danville, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010.
Born Aug. 20, 1919, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Lafayette and Elsie Cline Amy.
She graduated from Central Normal College, volunteered at Hendricks County Hospital in Danville for 20 years and was active in her church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, nine sisters and a son, William.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, George L. (Bud) Harvey; seven children, Amy Jo Martin of Laguna Beach, Calif., Jean Curtis of Indianapolis, Frederick and Richard Harvey, both of Danville, Michael Harvey of Chalfont, Pa., Ann Geissler of Germantown, Tenn., and Sarah Harvey of Roberts, Mont.; three sisters; 14 grandchildren; two step-grandsons; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, Feb. 28, from 2 to 6 p.m., with a Rosary at 6) at Baker Funeral Home in Danville.
Funeral Mass: Monday, March 1, at 11 a.m. at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Danville followed by burial in Danville South Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1005 West Main, Danville, IN 46122.
