She was born August 29, 1876 in the town of Almon, the daughter of the late Walter and Augustine Gutt.
On November 4, 1903 Ottilie was united in marriage to Herman Pehlke in the town of Almon. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1952.
Survivors include two daughters, Vera (Walter) Baurn and Agnes (Howard) Schumacher, all of Sturgeon Bay; two sons, Rudolph (Helen) Pehlke and Herbert (Dorothy) Pehlke, all of Wittenberg; five grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Gutt, Madison and Ernest Gutt, Hartford, MI.
Funeral services were held June 20, 1956 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. The Rev. Elmer Larson officiated. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, town of Almon.
