Rudy Walter Pehlke, age 77, Wittenberg, town of Almon, died Friday, December 19, 1986 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.

He was born September 15, 1909 in the town of Morris, the son of the late Herman and Ottilie (Gutt) Pehlke.

On October 6, 1934 Rudy was united in marriage to Helen Harter in Birnamwood. She survives.

In addition to his wife, survivors include one daughter, Joan (Curt) Detjen, Combined Locks; one brother, Herbert (Dorothy) Pehlke, Bowler; two sisters, Agnes Schumacher and Vera Baurn, both of Sturgeon Bay; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Judith.

Funeral services were held December 22, 1986 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bowler. The Rev. Thomas Myhre officiated. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, town of Almon.
