Obituary- Jacob J. Stieben-
On October 18th, 1972 at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, Mr. Jacob Stieben, aged 86 years, Winnipeg. Mr. Stieben was born in Russia and came to Canada in 1912. He came to Manitoba in 1915 and farmed until retiring in 1947. He has resided in Arnaud, Manitoba for 30 years. Mr. Stieben was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, three daughters, Mrs. Julius Rentz (Helen), Mrs. S. Solnes (Mary), Mrs. E. Hamblin (Martha), all of Winnipeg; six sons, Fred of St. Elizabeth, Jacob and Henry of Winnipeg, Alex of McGregor, Victor and Benjamin of Toronto; 29 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Rev. H. J. Burkart will officiate at funeral services Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Evangelical United Brethren Church, McKenzie and Church. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the family plot in Dominion City, Manitoba. Friends may visit Thursday evening at 7:00- 8:00 p.m. (tonight) at Kerr's Funeral Chapel.
