He was born on August 30, 1884 at Yuba, Wis. He was married to Mary Bruha at Hillsboro, Wis. After their marriage they moved to the Town of Colburn, where they lived for several years, then moved to South Dakota where they lived for a short time until returning to the Town of Colburn, where he lived until two years ago, when he made his residence at the Thorp Care Center. His wife passed away in 1956.
He is survived by five sons: Robert of Tucson, Arizona, Cyril of Hyland Park, Ill., August of Columbus, Wis., Theodore of Antioch, Ill., and Wencil of Spring Grove, Ill; three daughters: Mrs. Ray (Mildred) Wilson of Hartland, Wis., Mrs. Charles (Helen) Lukas of Oshkosh, Wis., and Mrs. Laverne (Agnes) Anderson of Boyd; one brother, Bohumil Stanek of Apache Junction, Arizona; three sisters: Mrs. Mary Klamicer of Milwaukee, Mrs. Julia Hanson of Cornell, and Mrs. Emma Wanecheck of Wauwatosa; 32 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday morning at the Bohemian Cemetery. Plombon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
