Funeral services for Richard J. Stanek, 35, who died suddenly Friday evening at his farm home in the town of Hampden were held Monday at 9 a.m. in The Tuschen Funeral Home and at 9:30 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in East Bristol. The Rev. Paul Grosse, pastor, officiated and burial was in Sacred Hearts Cemetery. Mr. Stanek was born in South Dakota and had lived on the farm near here for the past 16 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Beatrice Benisch; two sons, Robert and Dennis, and a daughter, Shirley, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stanek of Stanley; 6 brothers, one of them, August Stanek of Columbus; and 3 sisters.
