Alvin "Al" Fose, 85, of Fort Smith died Monday, June 12, 2000, in Fort Smith.
He retired from Hollis and Company in oil field sales and was a member of Goddard Methodist Church.
Funeral was in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel of Fort Smith with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; one daughter, Kaye L. Smith of Mountainburg; one son, Kenneth A. Fose of Fort Smith; one sister, Helen Zimmerman of Russell, Kan.; and two grandsons, Christopher Fose of Alexandria, La., and Joshua Fose of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers were Harry Lewis, Vance Stone, Harold Stafford, Sam McCoubrey, Charles Wiensburg and Edlred Hood.
