Born Feb. 4, 1883, in Friedenfeldt, Russia, she came to this country at the age of 17. On March 26, 1903, she was married to Adam FOSE. He died in 1931. She is also preceded in death by a son, Fred.
Funeral services will be held Saturday for Mrs. Katherine Elizabeth Fose, 75. She died Wednesday afternoon at her home at 1215 Elm St., after an illness of about three years.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. from the Deines Brothers Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. from St. John's Lutheran church with Rev.Otto Matthias. Burial in the Lutheran Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Strecker, Mrs. Helen Zimmerman, and Mrs. Luella Dumler, Russell; and a son, Alvin, Liberal. She is also survived by a brother, George Schneider, Bazine, and a sister, Mrs. H. P. Bender, Waldo, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
