Luella Dumler
Luella Dumler, 81, died Monday, Feb. 8, at St. John Nursing Home, Hays.
Born Luella Fose Oct. 30, 1906, in Russell County, she married Julius A. Dumler July 24, 1925, at Russell. He died July 24, 1985.
A homemaker, she was a lifetime resident of the Russell area.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Russell.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Wilmer (Dora Lee) Michel, of Hays, Mrs. A. J. (Jeannie) Mettlen, of Lucas, Mrs. Delmar (Clara) Beterson, of Curtis, Neb., and Mrs. Dale (Julie) Boxberger, of Milberger; one brother, Al fose, of Fort Smith, Ark.; two sisters, Pauline Strecker and Mrs. Dean (Helen) Zimmerman, both of Russell; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Her funeral was at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Russell, Rev. Carl Dietz officiating.
Burial was in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
Pohlman's Mortuary, Russell, was in charge.
Memorials may go to the church.
